WHY DOES THE HARP SOUND

SO GOOD?

When the strings vibrate on a harp, they excite the surrounding air to move. 


The soundboard acts as a wall and enormous waves of sound pressure translate into the beautiful sounds we hear.


INDOORS V OUTDOORS

The harp is a very finely tuned and crafted instrument.


Where possible, it can be played outdoors but it requires shade, temperate conditions and absolutely no chance of rain!
